Sea World

17.7.15

We went to Sea World in San Diego today, It was so much fun!
We went on all of the rides but one, and we went to some amazing sows. There were shows about Dolphins, Manta rays and Whales. It was so awesome!

The Rides

Shipwreck Rapids

Shipwreck rapids is were eight people go on a boat thing, and you go down these rapids and you smash into the waves. You get really wet!

Bay Side Sky Ride

Bay Side Sky Ride, is a ride where you go in this cart thing on a cable, and you go up, up and up, then you go back down the other side, then you go back up again then down to where you started. You could see over the whole park and the lake next to us.

Cirque De La Mer
(Circus Of The Sea, if you translate it from French to English)

This circus was amazing because they performed it on a stage in the middle of this lake! So a lot of it included doing tricks on the stage then diving into the water and racing around on speed boats! It was so cool to watch. There were some girls that were dangling of a big, long ribbon just over the water! Here are the photos:

Manta

The Manta was a roller coaster which was quite short but very, VERY FAST!!
When you start you go into a cave thing and it looks like you are in a tunnel under the sea. There are manta rays, fish swimming around you then this music starts and a you go back a bit and then the doors open and you go zooming out of the cave and around a bend and up and down!! It was crazy but soooooooooooooooo AWESOME!!! In the video I took, it doesn't look like it goes VERY FAST but trust me it does. Anna and I had to go on it again because it was so fun. But afterwards we were a bit dizzy!

Journey to Atlantis

Journey to Atlantis was a water ride where you went up a big steep ramp thing them straight down the other side super fast then you went up another hill and did some more roller coaster things. WE GOT SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WET!!!!!

The Drive To Laguna Niguel

The last couple of days were really, really, really LONG days.
First we were drove from San Francisco, (It took about 3 hours!) we arrived at Monterey around 4 ish. At Monterey we stayed at a hotel called Abrego.*
The next morning we went driving again to Cayucos*(It took about 4 hours!). We arrived at Cayucos at 9:00, and we fell straight asleep.
Then we woke up really early for a 4 hour drive to Laguna Niguel.
*I will share information about the hotels!

Now we are in Laguna Niguel, and we have had three really long drives. Laguna Niguel is a lovely place even though we just arrived, we all have lovely rooms and a spa on the deck, and pool up the road!
Kate and I have TV's in our rooms.

Hotels:

Abrego-
Abrego Hotel, had a really nice swimming pool and spa!
Kate and I played in it loads of times, even though we were only there for one night!
We went exploring and I found a Fitness area. When we were exploring we opened a door and we heard some one talking, then footsteps then another door close to our door open, and we raced down the stairs.

Cayucos-
Cayucos Motel was quite nice, but we didn't get to do much there because we got there really late and went early. They had a lovely breakfast, because you can go to the cafe thing by Reception and get like, Bagels, Tarts, Fruit and lots more!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

13.7.15

Today we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is the 2nd best aquarium in the US!! It was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! We saw penguins and sea otters getting fed, we got to touch stingrays and there tails! It isn't actually their tail that stings it's their tummy, the white part!! We also saw hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, jelly fish, a giant turtle, this yellow finned tuna that was the size of a desk!!! We saw lots of other things too!! It was such a fun day, I loved it!!
