Today we went to Alcatraz, on Fishermans Wharf. Alcatraz is a prison, the prison is very well guarded and its highly unlikely the anyone would of escaped when it was open.
But now the prison has closed to a visiting place, Alcatraz is an island so no one can swim there or swim away!
We went on a tour with headphones and this channel thing and we went around the prison and we heard the voices of the prisoners and prison guards in the headphones and what it was like in the prison, it was really fun. To get there we had to take a boat across the harbour and that was really fun too because we got to see the Golden Gate Bridge in the sunset when we were coming back!!
